I am an avid snowboarder, but am also in need of a knee replacement after multiple ACL repairs. My orthopedic surgeon has recommended that I put off my knee replacement as long as I can to reduce the risk of needing another one. An obvious symptom of my injury is chronic swelling and I am always looking for better tools to reduce inflammation. I started using Coco Compression socks at the beginning of this year and they are now established as a mandatory part of my recovery process. I put these socks on as soon as I am finished with any strenuous activity as well as most evenings. Since I've incorporated these into my recovery process/daily routine, I have noticed a quicker recovery time and reduced swelling resulting in less pain and the ability to participate in the activities I love more frequently. I am writing this review after unboxing and putting on my 3rd pair (I need 3 pairs in rotation as I use them so frequently), after a long day of snowboarding thinking how grateful I am for finding them.
These are thick and comfortable compression socks. They do provide good compression and help keep my legs from swelling or feeling tired after a 12+ hour shift on my feet. They fit well except they’re a little too long-they go over the bottom of my knees. I think they help my circulation and provide much needed support, and are a good value at this price point. These might be too long for shorter people,
These ultra green socks are awesome! They may be a bit difficult to style with outfits but if you are hiding them then no issues. I've worn them on repeat for extended amounts of time and they haven't lost any of their stretch/compression yet. After purchasing a couple pairs of compression socks at a large retail store to then find they were cute but didn't compress at all... this green pair has become one of my go-to's when I need some extra support.
Worked great to help minimize ankle swelling during third trimester of pregnancy!
As a pilot, I spend long hours in the cockpit and these compression socks have been a total game-changer. They provide excellent support, reduce leg fatigue, and have kept my feet and ankles from swelling during long flights. The fit is snug but comfortable and the breathable material ensures they stay cool even during extended wear. After wearing them for several months of flying, I’ve noticed a huge difference in how my legs feel at the end of the day-less stiffness and more energy. They’re also easy to put on and stay in place all day. Seriously, I never have to adjust them at any time during the day. If you spend long hours sitting in any environment, these socks are your new go to. The socks are also reasonably priced for such good quality and so far have seen zero wear or snags. I’ve spent much more on socks that have not delivered. Highly Recommend!
I’ve used these socks for a few weeks now, and what I’ve found for myself is:1. They are the most helpful for me when lifting. The sock itself is made of a fairly thick fabric, and while it is maybe slightly more effort to get the sock on than other compression socks I’ve tried, I find I prefer the thicker material as it feels more supportive, which is what I’m looking for.2. I recently used these socks during a road trip, 9hrs each way. I usually experience slight swelling in my legs during these long trips, but the socks definitely mitigated any of that I was experiencing. The only thing I’ll note is that I have fairly short shins, and experienced some irritation around the knee joint where the sock came up a little farther than I needed it, but all in all I am very pleased this the quality of the product and have been able to get pretty continuous use out of it.
Really impressed with the quality of the socks and the way they fit. Look to be long lasting.
These socks have been a game-changer! After just a few wears, I've noticed a significant reduction in foot swelling. As a mountain biker, I especially appreciate how they help with recovery after long days on the trail. I highly recommend these socks to anyone looking for comfort and relief!
These are great for general compression and while they aren't easy to put on, they aren't impossible either. They are secure and once on, are comfortable. They feel good and are not itchy or too tight.
I have nothing but good things to say about these socks, I am completely sold on them. I wear these all the time, as I am on my feet all the time. No more achy feet, sore arches, throbbing pain, all gone. So I am basically saying for me they are a great choice. I have had nothing but great results. They fit wonderful, not to tight certainly not to loose, the Goldilocks zone. Every now and again my kids even joke with me about how much I wear long socks( compression socks ) with everything. It's comfortable what-more can I say?
This was my first pair of compression socks. Having never worn any, I was concerned about how tight they might feel on my legs, but I was pleasantly surprised. Easy to put on snd provided all day comfort while being on my feet for 8 hours straight. Will definitely buy more pairs and recommend to family and friends.
I got these for my son who works long hours standing in a hospital. They fit great and have really reduced leg ache and ankle swelling after a long day. They stay up and wash well (he puts them in the washing machine). So far, they are winners.
They do require some effort to get them on - and once that task is accomplished, the rest of the day is great! No edema, no pain . . .
Packaged in a box for one pair.Utilized this on a plane trip as it's first test. The fabric is smooth, and it was similar to put on as any other compression sock. The sock stayed up for the entire end to end (home to hotel) trip, without being too tight or too loose in any area. Kept my ankles from swelling, like I need. The fabric is also thicker, and the stitching is precise - so I feel this product should last a long time.
Even though I ordered a large size, I could not get these on without extreme difficulty. I understand they are compression but this was ridiculous. Can't send them back because I wore them and I'm sure they would not accept something back that has been worn. I tried about three times and finally am going to discard them.
These compression socks are great. very thick and very comfortable & cozy. I do wish it was 2 pairs, but other than that its great!
Compression socks that work well for those long flights. Easy to slip on and work well. They stay in place. They are also not too thick and not too thin.
The socks really help my legs. I have poor circulation in my legs and feet. The socks support my legs well and make them feel better.
Picked out the ones that went up to a size 18” calf ( my calves are 17”) and the top elastic is too tight. I can get them on but they felt like a tourniquet after an hour of wear. I work as an OR nurse and I am constantly on my feet. I have had several pairs of compression socks before and few fit well without being too tight. The wide calf versions slip down and these are too tight. If the Duluth Traders compression socks fit you, these will probably be too tight.
I got these for my son as he is traveling to Europe in a couple of months. There is a history of blood clots in our family and I got these as a precaution for him. Nice quality and good compression.
I am very pleased with these compression socks, so far! I wear women's 9.5 and have big calves and these fit great. The compression isn't extremely tight but enough to feel that it is doing the job.The fabric and elasticity feel strong and durable. The thickness of the fabric is great. The fabric is comfortable and they even look nice!
My Cardiologist told me I should start to wear compression socks when I’m going to be sitting for a while, not due to any current issue, but for prevention. I’m all about prevention, so I’ve been trying various compression socks and I really like these. I wear a size 11 men’s shoe and I ordered the “M/L” size sock and they fit great. They come up to my knee cap and provide a good amount of compression, especially in the calf area for me. The socks are a medium thickness, but they are fairly dense (hence the compression). They recommend hand washing and air drying, but I machine washed them which they state is also ok and then laid them on top of my dryer while running to dry them. They also state that low heat tumble is ok. I wore them for a 4 hour car drive and they worked well. Then after the drive I walked for 5 miles and once again they were good. During the entire day I never had to pull the socks up, they stayed in prefect position the whole time. Overall, these are good compression socks.
Socks used to help in circulation. Extremely comfortable and soft material. Wear them when I am running errands, long trips in the car, on an airplane or when I am active playing tennis or riding my bike.
I've tried a number of compression socks lately trying to find a favorite for daily wearing. These are good but not my first choice. The reason? They're a little expensive compared to my favorites which come in multiples for about the same price. I think this brand has superior compression however my ankles swelled up about the same as with lesser compression. Of course, everyone is different so listen to your own body (and doctor of course).
BACK STORY:When I woke up from minor meniscus surgery my knee was wrapped with an elastic bandage. As part of the RICE recovery strategy (Rest Ice Compression Elevation) I used the provided wrap for the first week. After a complication developed, my calf and lower leg swelled, bruised, turned all kinds of fancy colors and hurt quite a bit. I guess this is not especially uncommon and I was instructed to keep up the RICE strategy longer. After a second week of using a wrap, it had become tattered from use and laundering so I asked about a sock and it was approved by my recovery team. NOTE: I needed a sock for the swelling below my knee so I looked for a ‘below the knee’ model, and I’m only wearing the compression sock on the leg affected by surgery.FIRST USE:I like green so this one jumped into my shopping cart and made its way to my door a day or two later. There are only 2 sizes available and I am reviewing the largest one denoted as their M/L size which states that it fits my men’s shoe size 11 and my 17” circumference measured calf. When I inspected the sock right out of the package I thought “NO way is this going to fit! Not even my arm…!” (SEE PHOTOS) Well, it does fit with a little extra effort - on my ARM. It took a LOT of extra effort to get it on my leg. It was especially difficult because my post-surgery leg did not want to cooperate at all without the added pain of contorting and pulling on my knee. In the end, although EXTREMELY difficult to get this to fit, it ultimately does indeed fit. Each time I put on a compression sock on I have to remind myself: This is a compression sock so it’s going to be different that a dress or crew sock.DOES IT WORK?YES! The sock takes a little fidgeting (pulled/rolled/tugged/tweaked) to get it placed properly, but for me I found that by wearing the sock my leg felt immediately more supported and comfortable than without the sock, and the swelling was reduced by the mild but persistent compression pressure. When in place it stayed in place and did not slip or roll down during a 6-8 hour wear cycle. Another thing that I noticed is that there is not a sawing painful toe seam. I appreciate it when a sock maker pays attention to the toe seam to see that it is not going to be a problem.DOWN SIDE?Kind of tight for my toes… I didn’t notice this squeeze while walking but it was quite noticeable while sitting. At the end of a wear cycle I had to go barefoot or wear loose socks for a while. Got bunions? If so, I’ll bet this would not be for you (ask your doctor). Being fair, my foot size is at the top of their size scale so it may be better for mid-scale wearers.SUMMARY:I like the comfort and reduction of swelling I got by wearing this sock on my post-surgery leg. Within the scope of my testing, these work as expected.
